Smile Dreaming of the number 99

I'm an IMG, graduated 2010, took step 1 at the end of Nov 2010, begin studying for step 2 CK after the first week of January 2011, material used :
MTB-CK and USMLE Step 2 Secrets for 2 months combined with kaplan Qbook (studying 7 hours/5 days a week cuz i had other work to do on weekends),
then started with uworld finishing gettin between 66-72%, after this I started with kaplan and my average was 58% after doing 60% of questions. Its a frustrating qbank, really tricky! I could score a 62 but inmeadiatly after that a 52 or backwards, its unpredictible! *NBME 4 after finishing uworld:420 *NBME 3 after doing 60% of kaplan:420 no improve in 1 month! frustrating! but at least I didnt get lower! Im still LOW in MANAGEMENT of diseases and ob/gyn, so i posposed my exam 1 month. I decided to do usmleconsult at least 60% of the bank untimed to refresh everything along with MTB 3 (i dont plan to finish this book,i just bought it but i hope it helps me in improve the management of diseases issue) Then i will spend my last 2 weeks doing what i have left in kaplan timed. My exam is 20 of june, i want to get a 99, hope this works.

All the best juanpabloq!

How do you find usconsult compared with other qbanks you've done? Easier? I'm planning to do the other way round!

Thanks! I think USMLECONSULT is a good way to start ONLY if you're planning to do uworld and kaplan also, i never imagine myself doing uconsult but im realizing its a really good way to review since it has lot of high yield topics, i.e you can have 3 questions of coagulopathies together like Bernard, Glanzman and vW so you can compare the different scenarios instantly, also you can search questions by topic, the bad thing is that some explanations arent so good
