I didnt even attempt it after hearing about hard it was cause I knew it would break my confidence.

Im happy with my UWSA socre (230) which was three weeks back, anything around that on my real exam and im happy

dont freak out tho, many recent test takers have said nbme 7 is not indicative of how they did on the real thing

Thank you! I hope it turns out that way!
The exam qs are harder than other nbmes I hear, but the curve is more favorable as far as I understand.

Somebody I know just took it and said the thing is practically exactly like Uworld. Said he got like 4 repeats also from nbme 7 so that's good for you.

It was my first NBME and it was very different from UW. I was rushed for time a little bit. Easy questions towards the end of the blocks and moderate-hard in the beginning. Not too bad overall.

Yes I felt almost the same way a bit harder in the beginning. But my friend who took the exam says it is much harder than esp nbme 4.

Hard or easy don't psych yourself out man

We gotta take this beast no matter what, harping on it's difficulty ain't going to lead to anything

Just remember avg for this exam is 238...ppl are scoring well that's why they keep raising the passing score

I took 7 yesterday after 2,3,4...I dropped 25 pts from 4..My third block was really hard. I was rushing toward the end, because I had very little time left. so If I do well on 4, 6 and UWSA, I ought be good, yes? I got about a week left.

Well, in my case, i dropped 20 points from my UWSA to NBME 7. And almost everyone iv asked said the same thing...anywhere from 15 to 25 points drop.

NBME 7 is brutal. Everyone is scoring low on it. For 3 people who took the real exam, NBME 7 underpredicted by almost 20 points. I might do it offline.

It was hard. More like UWSA, and a lot of 50-50 questions that i had to go with my gut. LOOOOOOONG....u get very tired. But all in all i think with UW and any book you are golden. Good luck!

I'm on 2nd pass of UW. I wont have time to finish it all before my exam. Do you think doing the incorrects would be the best way to go? I have like 1100 questions left overall.

YES. UW over and over again, but not just to answer questions. more like a book...to read every question AND explanation as one complete book. its the best till the end. I would also recommend the fischer flash cards (don't ask me how to get them or anything....i bought them a long time ago and don't know where you can get them other than amazon). They are very good to review in 2 or 3 days.

Ended up taking the exam yesterday because of a power outage last week when I was supposed to take my exam

Exam was long and hard. I thought ppl were exaggerating when they said you will not even have a second to waste on this thing and they were right. Will be happy with just a pass right now honestly. Gonna be a long wait

Haha yeah exactly. Used up every second of my break time cause the damn bathroom had a lock on it which took forever to open. Also so many ppl taking exam had the prometric center filled so had to wait to get in and out.

Yes this was the most exhausting exam I have ever taken

How did you feel overall about the exam? They asked some weird stuff

it was like a blur. In the morning, it was OK, I took break every two blocks...by the afternoon...I was taking a short break every single block. It was hungry exam, I had a lot of Hungarian Salamis, two red bulls, one bottle of coke, one thermos of coffee and a whole bunch of candies. I finished most block with 10+ mins to spare which was just enough to look over the marked questions. I went with my instincts with the majority of the question. 5-7 per blocks were gimmes. 3 ECG all gimmes, 2 murmurs one was straight forward, the other was an educated guess. 3-4 questions per blocks were not stuff thats covered by the materials I used to prep. I had a questiosn on Mycobaerium Marinum......I thought that was pretty random. I honestly dont know how I did. at the end, I was just glad to be out. I was one of the first person to start the exam in the centre and I was the last one to walk out. I had a nightmare last night about the exam, I will try not to think about it from now until the score comes out.

I am in the same boat as yours....felt like complete sh** after exam and worse thing is that we have to wait for 20 days more to know that how much we have screwed up the real deal
