Neuro Transient Ischemic Attack, preventing recurrence in a hypertensive patient?

a patient with HTN suffered TIA, what drug should be added to prevent the recurrence of TIA?

Aspirin or Statin? (If they asked to choose between the two?)

according to UW they have a role, thats why i was confused

Yes... But when Aspirin is given in the options and unless the question stem mentions high cholestrol levels i think Aspirin will be the more correct answer
