Kidney FSGS and Membraneous Neprhopathy Mnemonics

Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and membraneous nephropathy are the most common causes of Nephrotic syndrome in adults, but statistically FSGS is more common...

So,
FSGS = First and aFrican-american

Causes of FSGS? = the 3 H's
Heavy (Obese)
Heroin
HIV

Membranous Nephropathy = ABCD
Autoimmune disease
B hepatitis (easy to remember, using abbreviation mB for membranous)
Cancer
Drugs
