To me there is no good book for step 2 ck... The first aid is superior to MTB but the best resource is Uworld.

Default Best USMLE book for Derm

Hands down the BEST USMLE book for DERM/PICS is: "Dermatology for the USMLE"

Bought it 5 months ago in Amazon, and impressed by all the photos and high quality.

A must have for high scorers, highly recommended.

Default Yale-G First Aid: Crush USMLE Step 2CK & Step 3 is the new "bible" for the clinical USMLE Steps!

Guys I have absolutely no idea how to vote for this poll. I am new here.. Sorry! I just wanted to share my "discovery" because it took me about a year to find the perfect book for my Step 2 CK and Step 3! I was sooooo disappointed by all books... some books were over-simplified, some books were lacking basic information, some books were to hard to digest, some books included wrong out-dated knowledge.. This is just impossible for the clinical steps of the USMLE so I just have to go with the book "Yale-G First Aid: Crush USMLE Step 2CK & Step 3 (I was unable to post the link but you will easily find it using this title on amazon). I am just sooooo happy I found this amazing book! There is nothing compared to that book! All the info is high yield, the information is frequently updated, the author is so receptive to all feedback he receives and each version of the book just gets even better... This book plus UWorld qbank plus a spatial repetition platform such as Memorang would help you ace the exams!!! Look no further! This book is a must!!! Good luck!!!

P.S. Please add this wonderful book to the list.. there is the old version but this one is sooo much better. It is a pity for people not to be aware of this book's existence!

Default Yale-G First Aid: Crush USMLE Step 2CK & Step 3 (2017 4th Edition)

If you go to Amazon and look it up you will find it easily! Ensure you check the last version just like I write it! Well.. there are people who swear by the name of this book to get hight scores especially in USMLE Step 2 CK. The point is that there is not a single book out there that is perfect for the clinical steps and this is not like Step 1 that basic science is mostly basic science and not much is about to change drastically in most of the book... You need something to cover practically all medicine, focus on high-yield stuff without oversimplification and get up-to-date content that you can trust. This is exactly why I totally love this book and I am sure that it will soon become really popular. The new version of the book "Yale-G First Aid: Crush USMLE Step 2CK & Step 3" published in 2017 is already a best-seller in the kindle version in Amazon since it is really cheap and so concise! I highly recommend it if you are not happy with the other resources as I was. I have both printed and kindle version of the book and when I combine this with spatial repetition platforms and UWorld it is just the best to remember everything I need for the step! And it is easy to read too, it has questions with answers.. I just have not found something else to match the things this book offers. I think that people should try this book for sure..especially the kindle version is sooooo affordable and so updated all the time.. (there used to be some parts that there were some lines in places that they should not be in the kindle version and these sort of platform-related problems in the kindle but if you send the author feedback and let him know that you have a problem he makes sure you get the printed version or he fixes your problem asap).. the author is so perceptive to accept feedback and make changes and he keeps the content updated all the times, which I find quite admirable given the coverage. He even updates it twice sometimes during the year and if you see previous versions of the book this book initially was more like concise high-yield notes and it has evolved to a brilliant resource that, in my opinion at least, surpasses the other resources when combined the way I mentioned. The author himself suggest a similar method in his website and it seems to be working for me and for many others I have spoken with! I would be happy to share more info but I would strongly encourage you to try at least the kindle version of the book to see if this works like it worked for me.. when there is no "gold-standard" like in Step 1 with First Aid there is no harm at looking around.. at least this worked great for me! Good luck guys!
