I am so glad to be adding my information to this list today.

The exam: felt tougher than NBME and tougher than UWORLD. The questions on the real thing were a little longer than in UWORLD, but they were similar in style.

UWSA (1 month before exam): 244
NBME 7 (1 month before exam): 231
NBME 6 (2 weeks before exam): 246
NBME 4 (3 days before exam): 237

Took the real exam 9/17/15
CK real deal: 234

Very pleased and would have been pleased to get a 210 to be honest.

Study materials: MTB 2,3 and I did UWORLD questions well reviewed 3 times. Good luck! All is possible with hard work! Do a bunch of questions and do all the NBME's! They helped with endurance. Tip: try to finish NBME and UWORLD blocks with 10-15 minutes to spare so you don't run out of time on the real thing. This helped me.

All praise to the most high. Good luck brothers and sisters!

Since 9/23/15 is a Wednesday and you didn't get your results today, then expect them on Wednesday, 10/14/15. As far as I know, results are always on Wednesday. Since you took exam on a Wednesday, count 3 additional Wednesdays not including your test day. I have not heard of any difference for international or US grads. Good luck.

Hey guys, did one-month uworld qbank, mostly "all specialties" on timed tutor, AVG 80%.

Took the test on 12/15/2015 in Argentina. Just got my results yesterday, 234.

Overall I'm happy, but I still aimed for more than that.

Will post my experience on another thread later on.

Cheers and keep it up!

uworld 1st round: 74% - 1 month ago! percentile 70th
NBME 6: 237 - 2 months ago at 50% of uworld reviewed
NBME 7: 227 - 1 month ago at 100% of uworld reviewed (whaaaat!)
FRED: 89% - 1 month ago just right after NBME 7 the same day
UWSA:248
im aiming >250 score in step 2 CK!
at this time doing uworld second round 77% overall percentile 83th

uworld 1st time: 67%
nbme 4: 204 (4 months out; baseline)
nbme 6: 214 (3 months out)
uworld 2nd time: 92%
kaplan avg: 68%
kaplan simulated 1: 72%
nbme 7: 227 (10 days out)
UWSA: 244 (4 days out)

exam wasn't too bad. it was exactly like uworld. length of questions was pretty reasonable, unlike what i had heard from others.
i should have my score in a few weeks. hopefully it went well.

Default Ck 261

I studied to Step 2 CK before Step 1
My study schedule by order
Uworld qbank (84% done twice)
NBME 6: 256 (one month before)
Kaplan qbank (half of it)
Uworld Sim: 260 (2 weeks before)
Kaplan Sim 1: 76% (one week before)
Kaplan Sim 2: 81% (one week before)

CK Real deal 261.

I recommend you solving kaplan qbank in addition to uworld if you have time. Uworld simulation score was highly predictive in my case
Wish you all luck

***For some dumb reason, I could not pass a stupid NBME to save my life, but I did great on the real deal - my advice, don't take any NBMEs they are only discouraging. Take the free 150 and if you score above a 70%, go ahead with the exam. At least that is what worked for me.
Just want to say thank you for your post! I had so much anxiety leading up to my exam which I took last week. (Just waiting now). I'm just curious if you took a UWSA and if it was predictive of your amazing score?

Default My Step 2 story

Hello guys,

I've been stalking the this forum for the longest! I wanted to give some feed back about my Step 2 experience. I took 6.5 weeks to study for this exam (no interference from clerkship's).
The first day I did a "diagnostic day" where I did FRED and got a 104/141 which is a 74%. The next day I did a Kaplan diagnostic test and scored 65%. 4 weeks out I did CcSSA form 7 self-paced and looked up some answers i didn't know and I got a 450 (227 translated 3 digit). 3 weeks out I did a Full Kaplan assessment and scored 68%. 2 weeks out I did CCSSA form 4 timed, no help, and got a 280 (191 translated 3 digit). I was so devastated after that because I had studied (did tons of videos, and Uworld (average around 70~ went through 2x). Then 1 week out I did U world assessment and I did 4 additional random, timed uworld question blocks to simulate the real exam (u world only gives you 4 blocks). I scored a 214 on the UWSA and in the 70-80 in the timed u world blocks. I felt good but i wanted to take another CCSSA but was worried what a low score would do to my morale so I decided not to take it and did a final review (Step 2 secrets) the week of the exam and rapid review from Kaplan.
*The exam was hard* I had 330 items total. It was fully representative and similar to uworld but had some tough questions. The time went by smoothly. I took breaks after every 2 blocks.
After 3 long arduous weeks I finally got my score.....227! I passed!!!
Thank you all for the posts I really appreciated it!

Default P.S.

I forgot to add 3 days before I took the USMLE step 2 ck I took the FRED again and scored 84%. I believe what others say here...if you get above a 70% you are good for a pass on this exam!!!

Free 150 2 months before exam -89%
UWorld qbank random timed 82% cumulative performance
UWSA the day before exam -256
2CK exam on April 2nd. Will post the result later on.
The exam seemed to me extremely tough, more difficult than UW and a way more difficult than any Canadian computer based MCC exam. Plenty of Step 1 type questions, maybe up to 10%. 1 ad covering 3 questions, and 5-6 hear listening questions.
I wonder if anyone can tell me if the exam is interactive? I mean does the difficulty of the following block depend on how well you were doing the previous one, the better you were the more difficult questions you will see in the next block and vice versa?
Thank you and good luck to all.

Default usmle ck exam score co relation

1. uworld first time tutor mode= 75%
2. nbme 7 1 month before the exam = 229
due to some incomprehensible reasons i did not give nbme 6 but i would strongly recommend it in place of nbme 7 as nbme 7 is crazy and it will suck up all your confidence.

3. uwsa 5 days before the exam= 252
actual score 248.

i am quite happy with my score as the real exam turned out to be very tough for me and i was expecting between 230 and 240. 248 is a definite relief.
I think uw assessment most correctly predicts the actual score. All my friends believe this.

Default All Praise be to God!

All Praise be to God!
My CK score 209
almost 9 months of UWorld question bank. Tutor mode, untimed. First time 60%. Then did incorrect questions. Then resetted and did about half of questions - overall correct 79%. Then took the exam. Used First Aid for Step 1as reference. Also used Wikipedia and other resources suggested by search engine. Took about 5-6 hours a day, 5-6 days a week.
May God bless you all!
And thank you UWorld and everyone else.

CK score 240. A sensible piece of disappointment. My big advise to all IMGs to go for CK AFTER step 1. My weakest point was fundamental science concepts use.

I'm not sure if it's interactive but I did feel that if I had an easy block, the next one is extremely hard. I was also doing quite bad on time which makes me nervous. I agree that the real exam seems extremely tough and there were lots of step 1 type questions. I just took my exam and totally freaked out now

Congrats.

How long did you study?
What materials did you use?
Have you done step 1? If so, what was your score?

Nbme 6 223 (3 weeks out)
U world 62% (1st attempt, timed, random)
UWSA 230 (1 week out)
Free 150 78%-82% (software crashed, just an estimation with printed version)

Real deal 230

I was really nervous the first a few blocks since they look much weirder than uworld. I wasn't confident about a lot of the questions. After the test day I was freaked out. I thought that I could even fail. But the real score seems to be pretty consistent with the simulations.

Thanks. It's such a relief.
My step 1 score is 220. I used Uworld mainly for CK, combined with some Kaplan notes (just glimpsed some chapters if I'm not familiar with the disease), and some videos on youtube (Dr. Paul Bolin). Uworld is definitely the most helpful, as everybody says here.

Default Step 2 CK Score Correlation

I just received my exam results and I felt like I should share my experience. I have visited the forums throughout my study experience and felt like I should contribute as well.

UWorld - 72% (Random, timed, first-pass, 95% finished only)
NBME 5 - 230 (45 days before)
NBME 6 - 220 (16 days before...freaked out a bit)
Simulated exam at prometric center - 81% (8 days before)
UWSA - 256 (3 days before)

REAL DEAL = 242

I used only UWorld and reviewing every single detail.
Good luck!!

That's what happened to me with the Nbme 6. I went back and reviewed my weak areas and tried to remain calm. It was super hard though and I undestand your stress.
How are you doing on uworld? That should be your measuring stick because it is your most consistent testing aid.

I hope this helps.

Default Correlations UW, UWSA, NBME vs Step 2CK

Hello all-

First time user of this forum. A lot of spread with the data here, so I went through all the data, collected it into a master file, and ran some correlations. See the attached images and data file.

I focused on UWorld first pass percent correct, UWSA, and NBME. For UWSA I recorded the data no matter when the assessment was taken. However, I only ran the correlation for UWSA scores <265, since it seems to max at that value and that would skew things. For NBME, I only used assessments taken near to the actual exam date, and generally did not include NBME form 7. Not super scientific here, folks. The correlation thus will most hold for you if you are taking a non-form 7 NBME close to your exam date. The line of identity is indicated by the dashed line (i.e., if the assessment perfectly predicted actual score).

A few findings:
-Small sample size with restriction of range effects and clearly a selection bias wrt who posts on this site.
-There's a lot of variability (see the R2 values).
-An individual test is helpful in ballparking, but do not assume that will be your score.
-For UWSA, it tended to overestimate scores above 240 but underestimate below that cutpoint.
-For NBME, it tended to underestimate scores across most of the range, and became unreliable above 260.
-For UWorld first pass %, I was surprised at the strength of correlation, but still tons of variability there! Hard to say how this data applies at the individual level, since many folks use UWorld at different times / in different ways. However, if you're getting 75%+ on your first pass you are in good shape for a score >240. If you're getting 65%+, most scored >220.

Hope this is helpful. Now I need to get back to studying...

Best,
Jesse

Default Correlations

Oh, and here are the correlations from the above post:

Step2CK = 1.67*UWorld + 125.95 R2 = 0.67
Step2CK = 0.65*UWSA + 83.25 R2 = 0.50
Step2CK = 0.60*NBME + 102.01 R2 = 0.53

To access the images, I had to click the attachment and then click the center of the black image that displayed. Sorta odd -- maybe it's a .png issue. Good luck all!

Do you think this still applies if you did tutor and subject wise for first pass?

I am 50% done with uworld (tutor and subject wise) with 72% on my first pass.

Default Step 2 CK scores

Very happy to be able to contribute to this community, whose scores helped me interpret my own along the way. Thanks everyone!

NBME 3 = 248
NBME 4 = 256
NBME 6 = 248
NBME 7 = 240
Uworld = 85th percentile, 76% correct

Final USMLE Step 2 CK score: 272.
Very surprised given my previous scores, but I won't complain!

Please note that I am a PGY3 from Australia, so having clinical experience helped a lot with this exam.

Default CK advice

This is my first post here, although I have followed along with others posts to give me an idea of how I am coming along. However, I can't seem to find any consistency it would seem.

7 wks. of study

Uworld completed - 68%
NBME 7 on 6/12 (2.5 wks. ago) - 233
UWSA on 6/24 (~1wk. ago) - 234
NBME 6 on 6/30 (today) - 248

I completed all of Uworld before I took the UWSA and I was devastated because everyone I had talked to and everything I had read was suggesting I would drop on the real deal by 0-5 pts. I am wanting EM so that was not an option considering Step 1 was 235 and I was wanting at least a 242 on CK. So, in a moment of panic I pushed my date back to the 27th of July (the next earliest time available). Now I am not sure if I should try an schedule this thing if a I can get a date asap because I start with a full-time research position on Mon.

What y'all think? 240+ possible on the real deal given the info?

Question about the CCSSA (the NBME taken at prometric). I didn't want to start another thread, this one is somewhat appropriate. I took the CCSSA at prometric 5 weeks ago. Got >250. Has anyone taken that and found it to be accurate? Is it different from the ones you do at home? More importantly, I haven't touched any CK material for the past 5 weeks because of my upcoming CS exam...how much info leaks out in that time????? CK will be soon after CS.

Default I passed!

Took my exam on June 17th and just got my result this morning!

All my NBME's ranged = 180-200 (over several months prior to exam day)

UWSA (5 days before exam day) = 219

Real Deal = 223 [Definitely not a 245+ but i'm just glad that i've passed!]

First time ever posting here. I just wanted to give back to the community and give my input regarding this exam, as others experiences here has given me hope on my darkest days of my prep! I am beyond relieved, I thought I had failed. Felt miserable coming out of the exam especially because I could not pass an NBME for the life of me! But trust your practice test scores! UWSA has become more predictive of your scores over the past year. I used MTB 2 for IM and MTB 3 for Non-IM topics and First aid CK. I found the first aid CK much more in depth and complete. UWORLD is KEY!

A few tips:
-MAKE SURE you are able to get to every question on the exam. (try to aim to finish all your uworld blocks in 45 minutes to help prep you with timing on exam day).
-Try your best to strategize (read last line first, labs, then skim read the entire question stem instead of starting from the first word in the question).
-BE CONFIDENT with your PREP and TRUST that what you have studied is going to appear on exam!
-Keep at it during your real exam, block after block, plow through those blocks, pace yourself, mark questions your unsure about and come back to it if you have time remaining after seeing every question as each question is weighed equally. Trust that your practice scores will be reproducible come results day!

Good luck everyone and Thank you for being a supportive group for the rest of us!

I'm an IMG and I took step 2 before step 1.

NBME before studying 202
NBME form 4 3 months before exam 225
NBME form 6 3 weeks before exam 258
NBME form 7 1 week out 235 "freaked out ??"
UWSA 4 days out 259
Kaplan simulated test 1 was 76%
UW Qbank second round 80%

Real score 248, happy with my score although I expected more. I guess my weak points were those related to basic sciences especially biostat.

MCCEE 386 "98.9th percentile" ???

Happy to answer any question

Thank you !

Well, I did it during my internship year along with our local exam and electives. The whole period was about 9 month, I studied for CK alone for about 4 months but I was working, then had one week off before exam.

Studying materials:
- FA with some topics covered for MTB

- medquest videos: was very helpful in internal medicine, other subjects were not as good.

- Qbanks: UW twice with taking notes to be revised before exam, Kaplan Qbank (about 20% of Qs only), pretest pediatric (was good), FA Q&A.. I strongly suggest doing as much questions as you can, it helps you to catch the trick and helps with time management.

- Did few topics from Kaplan LN, it was super lengthy and full of low yield stuff. I don't recommend them if you have good background.

- For immunizations in adult and pediatric, I highly recommend reading latest updates on CDC website "very high yield"

- I also covered some basic sciences topics as I didn't do step 1 yet:
* almost all Pharmacology topics form Kaplan LN + videos
* microbiology: major classification and pathogens from FA step 1
* biostatistics from Kaplan LN + videos. High yield statistics is good too.

Wish you the best of luck

I forgot my first pass percentage in UW, I think it was somewhere in 70s.

Default Step 2 CK

NBME 3 (4 weeks before exam, right before dedicated studying) - 224
NBME 6 (2 weeks before exam, halfway through studying) - 245

Test day - 266

Resources used in order of importance
UWORLD (cannot stress this enough; read every line, and do this qbank TIMED twice, not counting the time you do it during all of third year in between all the subjects)
Step Up 2 Medicine: Read up on my weak subjects and made notes
MTB: used 2 chapters before realizing this book had very little information
Step 2 Secrets: read 50 pages for questions I kept getting wrong in UWORLD, but still did not find this helpful

Good luck in your exam, I think what you can do now is to revise your notes from UW, I did one block of every subject 1 week before my exam as refreshment.

Sleep well, eat well and relax !
Wish you all the best

Thank u so much for reminding me to eat and sleep well . I realized that I was so tired when I did my UWSA. Thank a million. You pointed out a huge mistake I was making.

I used to check this site soo much during my Step 2 CK prep and now that I am done taking the exam I feel like I absolutely had to make an account and post here to share my experience in hopes that they help someone else.

So as you will see by my scores, I am definitely not the best student. I am a Caribbean Medical School student and I took my exam between my 3rd and 4th years. I studied about 3 months for the exam and mostly just did UWorld. I read Step Up to Medicine during my IM rotation in 3rd year but did not really use it during Step 2 prep. I studied about 7 hours a day, 5-6 days a week, and took about 3 weeks off. My days mostly consisted of taking and going over UWorld sections, which took me forever. It took me about 4-5 hours to carefully go thru 44 UWorld questions. I also watched Emma Holliday videos during the last week leading up to my exam. I also used them for SHELF prep during my 3rd year and found them very helpful.

Step 1- 213
NBME 4 490 – 235 … 29 wrong – 3 months out
NBME Comp (our school made us take this) 215 – 2 months out
NBME 6 440 – 225 … 32 wrong – 1 month out
NBME 7 420 – 221 … 45 wrong – 1.5 weeks out
UWSA 234 – 1 week out
Free 150 - 85.1% - 3 days out
Real Deal - 237

The biggest thing I can say is to trust yourself and your test scores on test day. I know a lot of people say this and it is much easier said than done (trust me) but try as hard as you can. After my test I spent the next couple weeks just looking thru forums about what to do if you fail Step 2 and when you can retake it and all of that. The real exam felt harder and just different than all of the practices so I thought there was no way I would pass nonetheless score about what I did in my practices.

Last thing, I got my score at about 2:45 pm the day of score reporting so do not freak out if you don’t get it in the morning.

I really hope this helps

Default The comeback

Hello all. I'm an IMG. Not the brightest person in my year, had a difficult to swallow Step 1, but made a big comeback 10 months later on Step 2. I thought I'd shed some insight.

Long shifts at the hospital left me with little time. I sat my exam right at the end of 3rd year. I had no proper windows where I only focused on Step 2 due to the way rotations fell. Ultimately I studied 3-4 hours every night for 6-7 months then sat Step 2.

Resources:

UWorld (and learned off the explanations in and out)

MTB 2CK & 3 (mainly for non-IM topics, but probably read through every topic in MTB 2CK at least once, this was really good for the 'next best step' questions)

I dabbled with Secrets but found that if you knew UWorld and the explanations really well it didn't really add much

I dabbled with FA 2CK, wasn't the greatest and I found UWorld to be far more worthy of your time because once again this didn't add much

Step 1: 222

UWorld 1st pass = 65%
UWorld 2nd pass = 87%
Q Max (did roughly 1000 Qs) = 71% (can't remember exactly but I do recall being roughly 10% above average, so my average might have been 81% if the average was 70%)

NBME form 3: 214 (10 weeks before test day)
NBME form 4: 250 (9 weeks before test day)
NBME form 6: 227 (8 weeks before test day)
UWSA: 250 (3 weeks before test day)
Kaplan Full Length 1: 71% (2 days before test day)

Step 2 CK: 258

Needless to say I'm overjoyed! If I can do so well than anybody can, I consider myself to be a very very average student.

Best advice use UWorld and learn off the explanations as well as you can. Read MTB 2CK +/- 3.

Best of luck with your preparation!

Slightly below average student in terms of grades, above average clinically/extra-curricularly, so I'm ok w/the 25pt increase from Step 1.

Step 1: 215

NBME 3: 204 (baseline)
NBME 4: 229
UWSA: 230
NBME 6: 252
NBME 7: 244

UWorld x2 throughout school year, MTB 1x during medicine, then quick skim during dedicated time, did all incorrect UW questions until got them all right during dedicated time.

Total dedicated study time: <2wks

Actual Step 2: 240

Thanks. Just uworld twice thoroughly. Alot of clinical intuition required imo.

Read step up to medicine for IM and MTB for everything else. I did all the IM questions untimed first time around on UWorld. On my second round I did all questions timed/random. I also complimented it with reading secrets.

My Uworld avg was 67% but later rose to 71% after scoring in the 80% range for individual blocks. I did 2-3 blocks/day and read through every question.

Three weeks before the exam I scored 214 on UWSA-was disappointed but kept doing questions and focusing on my weakness.

Real Exam score 230-I was not feeling to well and used up all my breaks by accident and had to do 4 blocks straight, but my Father blessed me still.

I wrote this because I was encouraged on this same forum and I want to pass along the same encouragement. Work hard preparing, and let God do the rest!

I recommend that you spend the week before your exam building endurance and stamina. Remember this is 8 hours of testing administers over 9 hours.

In my final week I did 4 hours of questions on Sunday, 4 hours on Tuesday, an 8 hour full length Kaplan simulation on Thursday and sat the real exam on Saturday.

More than anything that I revised in my final week I feel that building stamina is what helped me more than anything. In fact I think my final week 'cram'/revision session led to me getting 1 question correct on test day that I would have otherwise gotten wrong, 1 out of 300+ questions does not make or break the exam. Remember it's a marathon, not a sprint.

IMG with Step 1 score in 230s (1.5 years ago).

For CK:
  • Did half of uworld throughout rotations (2015) in prep for shelf exams. Always read the relevant section from MTB2 for each shelf a week before. Sometimes read snippets of uptodate articles for rotations, usually after getting pimped.
  • Started dedicated study time in February '16 with ongoing rotations; finished the other half of uworld over the month with 68% total. Took detailed notes into MTB2/3
  • From March-May I watched Kaplan videos and did relevant questions from Kaplan qbank; finished with 70%. I took notes from vids and questions into my MTB2/3 books. Did not read Kaplan LN though.
  • NBME at prometric in early June: 255. Then took ~6 weeks off for CS prep afterwards (big mistake).
  • July 20-August 18: read my highly marked up MTB2/3 once, listened to heart sounds on youtube, reviewed stats once (mistake).
  • Took the exam on Aug 19 with the Chicago airshow doing practice flybys overhead

RESULT: 248 The new exam was manageable imo and a lot like uworld. Questions weren't too long; I always finished each block on time, except for the one with the long abstract. Only advice I can give is find a good source (not Kaplan) to review stats, ethics and clerical procedures/standards that maximize patient safety and care. If you think you know a topic well, ask yourself the following: what if the patient is pregnant (they love this one), immunocompromised, very old, peds patient.

1. UWSA- one month out- 218 (converted)
2. NBME form 4- three weeks out- 244 (converted)
3. NBME form 6- two weeks out- 254 (converted)
4. NBME form 7- one week out- 237 (converted)
5. NBME form 3- 3 days out- 218 (converted)
6. Actual step 2 CK- 260

Step 1- 230
-most recent NBME before exam showed 254

What made the difference for me was consistency. I studied hard for both exams, but I followed through with a lot more effort on step 2 CK. Make the final days count, because they matter. Also, never trust a practice exam.

Default Img 230

UW qbank: 60% ish, just once, never finished.
Nbme 4: 210 (august 1)
NBME 6: 198 (august 8)
UWSA: 212 (august 15)
Free 150: 75% (august 19)

STEP 2 CK: 230 (August 23)

I'm an IMG, studied and did the exam while pregnant, it was HARD.
I heard that if you score more than 70% in the free150 you are good to go, and when your nbme scores are under certain number they are underpredicted. So I didn't have a choice and did the exam as scheduled, and I'm very happy with my score. Good luck, you ALL can do it.

Congrats. That is an amazing score. How did you prepare?

Thanks, I read Master the boards 2, just once but with attention to every word took me one month, and then a few topics of Secrets for step 2, did uworld random at first 40q untimed, then 40 timed, but you really have to study the answers and at the end I was only doing 10q timed and that allowed me to be more efficient with more questions per day, focusing on my weakness only for the last few weeks.
For the nbme I analyzed the wrong answers and focused my uw-qbank on that.
I found the exam to be very similar to UWSA (in contrast to step 1 which was similiar to nbmes in my opinion)

Default I am posting my score because I used this thread to calm my nerves during preperation

I started, my preparation in May. I was doing some work for obtaining my diploma, so i had to make multiple visits to my university(located at a far place from my med school). So my preparation was very slow in May. Somehow I got my diploma in may end. Started prep in june with more enthusiasm, but I am a lazy person and that enthusiasm weaned off in a week.
Then I decided to go back to my home to study. I studied in july sincerely with the plan to write exam in 2nd week of August.
I did UWSA on August 3rd and scored 232!!!

Then my friend told me to review Uworld again. I was numb for several days of my preparation. Then I decided to postpone my exam to add 6 more days.
because of non availability of date in my city I had to travel about 1500 Kms to reach my test center.

So I reached hotel a day before exam. I was totally numb. I was feeling like vomiting whole day. Then at night I slept well because two nights before my exam I could not sleep because I had so much anxiety.

Entered exam hall with confidence which did not last much.

First block questions were okay, but I missed 3. Then I took break did 4 blocks fine. 6th block missed question, I went out for few minutes crying. I regathered my self and started 7th block missed few more question. Then I was planning to leave the exam without doing 8th block. But I thought just mark the questions, for god sake. I had paid 1000$ to ECFMG.
\I came out of exam like I am going to fail.

But I got 246, I dont know. I think If i would have done this exam without loosing my cool in 6th block onwards I could have scored atleaset in 250s. But I am happy.

SO dont leave battle. Keep fighting you don't know what's next.
Even if you loose you will get an experience
If you pass, you will be the winner and the most happiest person for at least for a day.

What should I do guys?

Step1: 229
UW avg 2nd time: 71%. I did it the first time during third year of medical school, which was over 2 years ago, and now I'm studying for the exam.
NBME 4: 187 as a baseline 2 years ago. Redid the exam last week and got a 214.
NBME 6: 193 several months ago
NBME 7: 210
Free 150: 71%

Doing UWSA tomorrow and exam is on Friday. I have to get above a 240 on this exam but don't know if it'll happen. I applied this year and most programs have deadlines of Oct 31st.

Thanks!
228 - step 1. I took all of them, but NMBE 4 was the only one I did online. I wanted my score back before the match, so after taking NBME 4 and knowing I would pass, it wasn't necessary for me to track my progress because my test date wasn't going to change. So the rest I did offline as practice.

UW and Onlinemeded videos were my main resources. The test felt like a combination of NBME 7 and UW.

Default My Rundown

Since this website (and this thread!) have helped me immensely during my step 2 preparation, here's my rundown:

Step 1: 261 (people seem to ask that question often, so I threw my score in here)
UWorld QBank: 86% correct overall (when I started out, it was around 75-77%)
UWSA: 263 (3 days before the exam)

Actual Step 2 CK Score: 273

Books used:
Kaplan lecture notes + lecture videos: like many have mentioned before, these books were not nearly as important as they were for step 1, but I still found them useful (especially Conrad Fischer's videos). If you are short on time, the 2 books I found THE most useful were Surgery and OBGYN (the lecturer for OBGYN was great; I didn't bother watching the videos for Surgery, because from what I surmised Pestana just reads from the book (the book itself, MCQ's included, is fantastic).)

MTB Step 2 CK: to be honest, this was probably the worst book I had used -_- I read through it once and didn't look back at it again. I'd use this if you're out of touch with medicine and need a book that offers a non-in depth review of each major subject.

First Aid for the Step 2 CK: this book definitely pales in comparison to the FA for Step 1, but it's so, so, so much better than the MTB. I found myself using this book fairly often, and its infectious disease chapter, compared to my other sources, was excellent.

UWorld Biostats: if you have the money, I'd say this was worth it. I BOMBED biostats for step 1, so I decided to work on it for step 2- it offers a great explanation of the subject (if you didn't use it for step 2, consider it for step 3, as it doesn't take too much time to go through.)

The BEST resource of all though (and I know it's been said before over and over, but there's a reason for that) is the UWorld Q Bank. Like many who have scored well, I found that thoroughly reading through the explanations (and for me, taking copious notes/clicking on every chart) helped me develop better clinical reasoning. Unlike Step 1, which I felt like was a test of your cramming skills, CK relies far more heavily on how narrow down a differential diagnosis- and I feel that U World helps the most with this. I only went through the questions once, I didn't have time for a 2nd read through.

As for the UWSA- the score actually underpredicted for me (which is odd), but I found the questions VERY useful- there's no doubt reading through those explanations helped me on the actual exam (the questions differ from the QBank, and the explanations are just as thorough.) And from what I could see, the questions are updated often (when I looked at the dates of update, they were just 1-2 weeks before my 'test date,' so to speak).
I opted not to take any of the NBME's (which I did for step 1), as from what I read in the forum, UWSA is a decent predictor.

For those who are wondering, I felt like the UWSA and the QBank questions were very much like the real thing (maybe only a few of the prompts were longer), so if you're doing well on time in UWorld, you should be OK with the exam (I had a few minutes at the end of each block to double check my marked questions.)

And finally, as for the questions on my exam- in all honesty, I found them well rounded (as in each subject was covered, and I didn't feel like the questions favored one subject over another)- I remember some people saying their test was full of biostats, but I didn't feel mine was the case at all (perhaps I lucked out!).

I hope this helped, just like you've all helped me. :-) Step 2 is easier than step 1 but it's still definitely hard- at the same time it's doable- always stay confident in what you've learned. Best of luck to everyone here.
