Default Step 2 cs Physical Exam

I have just started preparing for the CS using First Aid. I have a question regarding the Physical examination portion.
The CS booklet states that we are expected to perform a FOCUSED physical Exam. What does the FOCUSED mean here. Does it mean for e.g if we get an abdominal pain case, are we only supposed to examine the abdomen or are we expected to auscultate the heart and lungs too. If you see the sample patient notes in the cs booklet they also state that only a focused exam is required. in that particular example the patient came in with back pain and the examinee only described an exam relevant to the back pain with no mentioning of heart and lungs and it was acceptable.
So what do you guys think..
