Question Confidential Warning before asking?

Hi all:

I was watching CSE videos about incontinence and when the doctor said: does your urinary incontinence occur during sexual activity, she did not say the confidential sentence. Do we need to say confidential sentence? Or we just need to say that when we start to ask sexual history and social history?

Thank you!

You don't need to be oversensitive about this issue.

You can ask sexually-related questions whenever you like.

It's recommended (though not mandatory) that you tell the SP the "confidentiality confirmation" before starting the social and sexual and family history.

Do not spend too much time on this, just say "am going to ask you few personal questions and I assure you that whatever we discuss would be kept confidential".

You don't need to say that when you something pops up during the HPI or any other part of your CS encounter.
