Smile This is how am going to talk to the SP

I want to know if this introduction is good or not.

"Hello, Mrs. Smith?"
"Good morning, how are you today?"

If SP says "Not feeling good", then say:

"I am sorry to hear that. My name is Dr. XYZ. I will be your physician today, and I am here to do my best to take care of you." Hand shake included.

If SP says "Good, fine, okay", then say:

"I am glad to hear that. My name is Dr. XYZ. I will be your physician today, and I am here to take care of you." Hand shake included.

"Is everything in the room comfortable for you?"
"And what about the lights?"
"Mrs. Smith, I would like to ask you a couple of questions and then do a physical examination. Is that okay with you?"

"Would you please excuse me for a moment, I would like to give you a drape. Is that okay?" "Here you go." "Comfortable?"

"Mrs. Smith, do you mind if I take some notes while we talk?"
"Thank you."
"Just let you know, whatever we are discussing, it remains confidential."

"How can I help you today?"
SP: "I have abdominal pain."
"Oh! I am really sorry to hear that. I can understand what you are going through. I'll do my best to make you feel better."

"Tell me more about the abdominal pain." Paraphrase and fill in the blank(s) of remaining questions - LIQORAAA and so forth.

What do you think?
