Default Prometric in Lithuania, Italy, Germany and UAE

Hello to everyone !
Took Step 1 in Ankara, was very noisy, as a result - poor performance vs predicted by nbme/uwsa.. ((
There were about 10 people taking TOEFL at the same day - the speaking and writing pats were awful for me, noise in room was unbearable.. what i want to say is that we are spending so many time and money on USMLE, exam is lenghty and all you want is at least silence., but noone can guarantee you this !

I'm planning to take step 2 very soon - please share your experience, esp. those who took exams in:
Lithuania, Italy, Germany and UAE !!!
How big are centers (how many seats) ? Level of noise ? Conditions ?.. Any info will be higly appretiated !

I took both steps in Ankara and I am so surprised at you comment. It was like the most quiet test center possible! Do you use ear plugs and the extra head set? Those help tremendously.

Very interesting it must have been bad luck. They do not put the usmle guys in the same room with the toefl guys - who have to speak in the exam-, but you might see some GREs. The big room was full when I took it. And sometimes they spare the small room only for usmle takers. The fact that there are no windows and it is in basement blocks out all the outside traffic noise.
