Default Thoughts on Step 2 CS errors

Hello everyone. I had a few errors that I have been stressing over for the past few weeks. I was wondering whether you think I could fail the ICE portion as a result.

1. In one of my cases, I focussed the entire history taking on the HPI and forgot to go into PMH, PSH, FH, SH, drugs/allergies. This patient required counselling and I put most my emphasis on that aspect. I did a summary, completed the physical exam, and solid closure at the end. I walked out of the room and immediately realised the I had missed a major part of the history taking, but at that stage it is too late to walk back into the room so there was little I could do. I did not include the missing parts in my patient note, as we were strongly advised not to do this.

2. In a phone case with an infants father, again I forgot to ask PMH, PSH, allergies, medications and birth history. I was shocked with myself immediate after hanging up the phone with the patient. Again, I had to leave these parts out of my patient note.

3. On one of the cases, I made an error on my patient note and did not put anything into the diagnostic tests section. I didn't realise this until the time had run out and I had scrolled down on the PN. I felt horrible when I realised my mistake, but I had to move on.

4. I made an error on 2 of the top differentials on the exam. The other 10 I was pretty confident that I made correctly.

On a positive note, I did a through introduction, summary, hand washing, counselling when necessary, physical exam, and closure in every single case. I got along quite well with all the patients and never ran out of time while speaking to them. Every thing else was pretty solid for the most part, it's just that the above mistakes I mentioned have been eating away at me and I'm hopeful to get some reassurance on this forum. I am also wondering if it is true that they consider your top 10 highest cases rather than all 12. If this is true, then I will feel a bit less worried. Thanks.

Not a problem if you forgot any parts of history or physical in one or two cases, this is extremely usual for all examinee.

Also, not a problem if you forgot typing tests only in one case, neither missing the differential in one or 2 cases will harm you.

In my exam, I ran out of time in 8 cases when I was in the middle of closure and did not have time to answer SPs questions, in 8 cases I did only general physical exam + one system only that is related to the SP's complain.

Half of the cases I only wrote 2 differentials with maximum 3-4 diagnostic tests, but I was confident in all of the DDs I typed, although my notes were detailed in the history section, there were really short on the physical.

The result: I passed with high performance ICE, SPE, CIS . To tell you the truth, I think it takes a lot to fail this exam.
