Question How many work ups is too many?

Sorry for all the posts everyone but I have so many questions about this exam. While studying first aid I saw that some cases have several work ups while some have few... Should I write all of them even if I don't use one Ddx that is given in FA (ex. Hep a ag for person with diarrhea who was not in endemic area and therefore prob. Doesn't have hep a) Or should I write it down and keep my ddx limited to 5? And does it matter what order we write the work ups? I know basics first but for more specific stuff, does it matter??? Thanks =]

In the exam, you have room only for 5 items. You will be given a numbered list from 1 to 5 in both DD and workup.

DD should have the most likely diagnosis at the top with the rest in order of likelihood, while it doesn't matter in which order you write the workup.

See the patient note sample you will see in the exam, and remember you'll be typing on a computer, not writing down.

You can write more then one ddx or work up on one line. You have to group them together.

Hi, anyone who wrote more than 5 DD in cs exam and passed?
In few cases i wrote 7 DD's without thinking that its exceeding 5 DD

what i mean is in some cases i wrote 2 DD in 1 coloum...so got total 7

Example: xyz/abc

above is example of 2 DD's in 1 coloumn

I know that we can write less than 5 DD's and acceptable but what about more than 5 DD's
I also wrote more than 5 Labwork in all cases but am not worrying about labwork bcz sometimes we need more than 5 lab orders

my only worry is more than 5 DD's

anyone who wrote more than 5 DD's and still passed with high performance in Patient notes.

thanks ...awaiting for results..Hope i will pass ...

You don't lose marks if you write extra stuff. They'll just look for the one they want, and if it's there you get a mark. That's it. So don't worry.

Correct you won't loose marks. There is no negative grading. But you shouldn't write Ddx which aren't related.

Default You will not lose points, but wont get extra either

If u write more than 5, they wont score it. They look at the first 5.
