Arrow My Experience Attending Dr. Wolfe’s CS 2 Class in Palo Alto, California

A friend who had been taught by Dr Wolfe told me about the new CS 2
class in Palo Alto
so I signed up for it.
The first day is mainly Dr Wolfe's lecture, including diagnosing and physical examinations. Each of us practiced physical examinations on the actors. After that we interviewed 4 patients and wrote a note about each one. After that we had the Q&A session. Two additional physician-tutors there were very enthusiastic; we had lots of questions and they
accommodated us until pretty late. Dr. Wolfe read our notes afterwards; he returned and discussed them the next morning.
The second and third days we had 8 patient encounters exactly like the real exam. Each day one case was videoed and immediately reviewed with Dr. Wolfe; at the same time he helped us with the note for that case. He also gave an in depth analysis for each case. The other tutors and assistant evaluated our patient notes. They were strict, deducting
mark by mark according to the standard answers and did an overall review.

I was told the course has now expanded to 4 days with an additional 11 cases on day 4.
Dr Wolfe said the course is sponsored by Arrowsmith Foundation, a nonprofit organization, and considering students’ economical situation, they have decided upon a fair and competitive price for the course. More information can be obtained at

Personally I felt that this course has given me a lot of confidence and I didn't panic during the exams. If there are tough cases during the practice, Dr Wolfe would explain to us how it should be handled so I
wasn't worried about any cases after this. My problem is not having enough time for revision after the class. I only had 2 days, one at home and the other was during the 6 hours journey to LA. Because of my lack of time for more review, there were some repeated mistakes during the exams. I would recommend 2-3 weeks of personal preparation, giving 1-2
weeks time to polish up after the class will be better.

Default I passed the CS test

I passed CS at the first try and the result is on Aug17th.
I took the CS class on June 20-22 and my CS test was on Jun25th in LA.I only prepared it for 1 month.
The class is really helpful and I made big progress on ICE and rapport.My patient notes also improved a lot.
Dr Wolfe with all the staffs(Lopez,Mazargkay,Jennifer, etc)and SPs are very professional and they make you feel like the real test.You will be very confident in the real test and it's really important.
The fee is low and I think it's worthy.I am sure that it's necessary for me to pass at the first try though I ever thought of changing my date ,I decided to take it at last after Dr.Wolfe convinced me that I will pass.He is right and I passed it.Thanks to them all! Don't hesitate to take the class.My other 3 friends took the class in August and they all found it's really helpful and they will push their CS test one or two months earlier.Thanks again,to you all!
