Help How to study for the CS alone!

Does any one have any ideas how to study alone for CS?

I bought the csevideos and I seriously need a pattern that I can follow while taking a history but I've practiced 12 cases on my own and I keep forgetting to ask soo many questions..its depressing cuz I have my test on the 10th...its been a while since I had any clinical experience and I think that's why I am finding this hard.

I used to be pretty good at history and examination..

plz throw in some suggestions m sure more people out there would want to know too

Though I am amateur, yet I suggest, you should practice the cases before someone. If you do not get any fellow, then you can even try this before your family members, any one who can speak English & pretend to be affected by the disease & you should then visualize the case in their case & as a family member of yours you should be more cautious about their health & diagnose carefully , so ask them without omitting any points...then counsel them about their diseases & treat them & finally u heal them by regular monitoring (I mean, memorizing the case everyday ) ...

As you are studying alone I think this may help you...& if it works or even if u do not like this, please let me know...
Best of luck!

Default It's better to practice with someone

As seemaCMC pointed out, you have to practice the cases with someone.

The partner is best to be another student preparing for the CS exam, USMLE Step 2 CS Study Partners Forum can help you get someone nearby your area. Otherwise, if that fails, then at least an English speaking family member.

If even that fails, like you don't have somebody at home. Then at least practice talking in front of mirror. See how you talk and am sure you'll find many mistakes!

For a good guideline on how to practice cases read this thread
