Help Guide me on practicing CS Cases

please any one advice me for CS exam in two weeks.

I had finished First Aid. and online clinical skills review.
What will you recommend for practice method ?

I will just go through with FA cases, will this enough ? I am still worried for peds cases.

You will not have pediatric cases in the CS exam, I mean there won't be children to examine, you'll have telephone or face to face interviews with moms talking about their children.

As for how to best practice for the CS please read here

When dealing with peds case make sure you refer to the child's name. Don't unconsciously refer to the mom as the patient. Remember the mom brought in the patient. Child may not be there but always use the patients first name.
If need to ask about family history. Say "child's father" don't say to mom "your husband". (don't assume mother is married or the father is living with the mother)
You can ask in a nice way but don't assume.

Smile Yes fa is enough

Yes man, FA cases are enough. But make sure that you manage the time well. Be very attentive and clear all the queries. Also make sure that you counsel them where ever required.

They will not ask you many challenging questions but whenever they do, be professional and answer them in the best possible way that you can.

Practice with someone the FA cases, and that will give you a lot of confidence if ur exam is in 2 weeks.

I also had only 2 weeks and this is what I did. Was lucky to have friends who would become 7 or 8 sample patients everyday.

Gudluck!!!

Smile CS pratice for neurology and paed cases

Hi

I practice CS cases with relatives at home at least 4 cases. I have time issue in Neurology and paed cases. I could not able to finish in time. please any guidance .

In memory loss case, will there be the patients alone or with family members.
I noticed in FA, there is physical examination under work up. Do we still have to do physical examinations unless instructed not to perform. Will it be alright, if I mentioned, mini mental status examination, if i do not have much time to do it.

Thank you very much.

In memory loss you have to do mini mental status and mention it in PE, make sure you practice petient note (PN) typing too. all the best and dont worry neuro cases are really long for every one and ped case are short because no physical exam.
Goodluck
