Question Telephone CS Case on hold!

If face a telephone case in the CS then I will be writing my notes while we talk. If the mother is talking fast and I cannot catch with her and write notes at the same time then what should I do?
Is it OK to put her on hold

Default Don't put her on hold

Be careful not to press any bottom on the telephone while you are talking to her because this will end the call and you cannot talk to her again.
Right in the beginning of the telephone conversation tell her that you are going to write some notes while you talk to her and please allow me sometime before I respond as I will be gathering data from you so that I can reach the optimum conclusion and advice.

You have the initial problem. My recommendation for cases is to right your ROS before had in quick abbreviations. That way you can x and circle yes or nos. It's much easier and it really only takes a few seconds.
