Smile I passed with high performance

I was afraid to open my results ......but my 7 years old son told me please dad open it ....I opened and read the beautiful red notice (Your certificate will be sent) I opened my score report and let my son read WOOOOOOOW

I PASSED..
Our prayers me and my wife are succeeded ...
Also, Our very hard practice .

This my 2nd attempt ..and I will post my experience and my results to give help in the forum that helped me a lot....Also ,to knock out many wrong common myths about the exam and from my results you will know that.
The first one say that physical exam is not important and most of the SP do not have physical findings..........Wrong

physical exam is very important and you will find many physical findings.

I will give more details later.

Many thanks to all people in this forum who helped and support me.

I think i agree with you, the physical exam is very important, and so is the patient note.. i think you failed the first time because of the patient note.. and i passed with high bars because my patient note dragged my data gathering our of borderline... infact looking at confidence interval for ICE and difference between data gathering and PN confidence intervals it appears PN has about 70 percent weightage and DG has 30%,....

and once again.. congratulations on a job well done.. i really would want to know how you did DG so well!

Correct Answer This exam is mostly about the medicine

Thanks drarnab

In my first trial I did not know associted symptoms well also i did not understand that every system has relation with more than one system ..because i did not study mini cases in FA...my second time i studied many cases very well and studied DD very well .I was able to ask all question for every dd (5 DD Multiplied by the associted symptoms in each = a lot of Questions) I asked many many Questions and all are related even with 1% relation....I did not have time to write all these in PN .I gave more interest to write Physical exam.
But the marked improvement was due to Physical exam....I took my time and imagined that they are not actors (Actually most were not)...In some cases i repeated the procedure once or twice to be sure from the clinical positive sign that i had found. I deal with them as real patients..
Also, i did very focused clinical exam..opposite to the wrong myth I did not do chest +heart auscultation in all cases....Why do i need this in neuro or abdominal exam better to save time for fundus exam( neuro) or abdominal auscultation( i did not raise the stethoscope till i heared the real bowl sounds and i did raise it from the chest till i heared complete respiratory cycle)
In chest i did complete from anterior and posterior and even nose and mouth.

In diabetic and HTN I examined the eye with ophthalmoscope...In writing PN i wrote DD then investigation then physical exam the History .in about half of cases i did not have time to write medication, Social ,menstrual, family ,allergy, surgical history and i passed.
also , I did not do councilling in more than 6 cases and ran out of time after physical exam in about 3-4 cases( no diagnosis,no summary and no closure or counciling).I passed CIS opposite to the words that say (if you miss closure counciling and summary in some cases you would fail) and opposite to what say(Do counciling in every case).

My first failing experience i did rapid physical exam ...I think that i missed many physical findings and my notes were very bad in physical exam ..

I wrote DD then investigation then History then physical exam
the big surprise i wrote past ,surgical ,allergy ,sex H,social ,family H in all cases and failed .

I did a folish mistake to write some exam i did not do in 3 cases and wrote Normal...

But i did closure ,summary and counciling in all cases with nice closure and the finished all cases in time + chest and heart auscultaion in all cases

and I pass CIS and a big failing in ICE....

They monitor the internet and know that in recent years many think that it's acting .........

I took kaplan life course before my first trial and the instructors always say this exam is about everything except medicine ,Physical is not important as closure and counciling.......WRONG.

This exam is mostly about the medicine and deal with the patient as a real physician that manage real patients.

funny how different people come up with different things. I did the kaplan course too, and i didnt miss a single closure , etc.. wrote all the allergy surgical stuff that kaplan told me about and did great on the PN part of the ICE...

so i guess there are several ways to pass, or fail this exam.. thanks for leaving great feedback for the others...
