Default What to do before a live course?

I'm taking the Kaplan live course in Pasadena in 2 weeks and I was wondering what you guys would recommend doing before the course. It starts on the 26th. I have FA and I will be getting the course book in about a week. Any recommendations?

Hey, i took Kaplan in Chicago before CS. It was a very nice course.Very intense
When i started the course i already went over FA couple of times. And I think that was a huge plus. They won't be able to talk about everything on Kaplan course.
Basically for first 2 days you gonna go over General things and PN. 3rd day is gonna be about examinations and you gonna see Patients and all that. and last 2 days you gonna go over hard cases and have a mock exam.

Kaplan course was amazing from the point that it gave you confidence and A LOT of practice on SP's. And the whole environment of the exam room ...Just Amazing before the exam.

BUT....in my honest opinion you will not learn how to write PN, how to abbreviate , how to ask proper question for different cases. How to put Ddx.
UNLESS you practice and learn yourself.

So prepare as much as you can in those 2 weeks with FA....its really the only thing you need. Kaplan course book is pretty useless.
Enjoy Kaplan course... IT WILL BE FUN!!!

Good Luck
