All (allergies) Meds (medications) yo (years old) mo (months) PPD (packs per day) rec (recreational drugs) NAD (nothing abnormal detected) RRR (regular rythm and rate) PMI (point of maximal impulse) b/l (bilateral) are used and these are NOT on the usmle cs info pdf posted on their website...

Hey Bird,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._abbreviations

this is my resource, there is included RRR and CN (cranial nerves)
however Im just sticking to the ones in FA and some others that I have asked friends if they put those in their tests like RRR or CTA B/L, these last two are OK to put in, and yes I agree with timing, altho Im a fast typer I find myself getting short of time, theres a lot to type and think at the same time! I guess practice will help us tackle the patient note.

if you find any other helpful link or document please upload it.
thanks
