Embarrassed IMG 2nd attempt step 2CS

Hello every one...!!!
I have been a silent follower to this website, and honestly it truly helps a lot to orientate your self in this crusade.
I failed in CIS in my 1st attempt in step 2CS. As far as I remember I forgot to pull the leg rest for 1 SP, and the whole interview was kind of wrong, SP was angry and I couldn't finish a good closure. I tried to be very respectful, I introduced my self correctly, washed my hands in every patient, I can't say I explained every maneuver I was about to do in the PE but in the majority of them I did it, I tied the gowns after every PE; in another case, angry SP too he totally got into my head, I don't know if I was nervous, or was the SP's performance but the management of the time was not the best, I barely finish the closure. Generally speaking the time management was one of the main cause, another detail was I believe I didn't talk loud enough for the patients and sometimes they asked me to repeat the questions, that may reflect low confident in my performance, also I couldn't resume in all of the patients.
Anyway I jumped again and this time I pulled the leg rest for every patient who needed it, explained every PE maneuver I was about to do, tied the gowns, introduce my self out loud enough, offered to deem the lights, increase the temperature of the rooms, offered a blanket, even when the patient had one on his legs already; the time management wasn't a problem in this occasion in almost all of the rooms I left before the announcement of the time is over, I focused my questions strictly to the cause of the SP's visit. There was a couple of events that may have affected my qualifications: in 2 case an SP gave me his book to put it away and I don't remember if it was after or before I washed my hands. If it was after and for sure I didn't wash my hands twice, then I'm screwed there. Another SP the closing was incomplete cause I didn't have enough time, this was the only one the bell caught me, I resumed in all of the cases and asked for more questions for me.
My results will come out on Apr the 29, and right now the waiting feels like the worst nightmare. Mainly cause if I don't pass this time my 6 years to do the boards will expire, and I don't think I will have enough time to present my self again to the Step 2CS.
Well, at least I took it out from my chest, it feels a little beat better... It is agonizing the waiting, if it is somebody there with any input it will be more than welcome...
Good luck everyone...!!!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. But I don't get it. What do you mean by "the patient gave you his book" and what's wrong with getting the book and not washing the hands?!
It looks like you've done great in your exam so don worry You'd pass man!

Thank you for your support, it really helps in this moments.
I meant some SPs appears with something in their hands like a book, or a puzzle magazine and they give it to you just after you washed your hands and you are just about to start the PE. If you take the book you are supposed to wash your hands again, and I don't remember if that happened before I washed my hands or after.... Thanks a lot for your support, I mean it...

So many factors are involved in your last score so don think about every detail. Nobody is perfect I've read about a guy who did't write any ddx for the last 3 cases and he passed. Besides, those cases might be the experimental cases. Relax and enjoy the life. You've been through many difficulties and this will pass too.
