The major complain is given for you at the start just to make you ready, but you need to behave with the patient as if you know nothing about him.

So you knock the door 3 times and wait 3 sec then enter. Call the patient by his last name while you open the door introduce yourself with a smile and firm handshake "am your attending physician for today ans am here to take care of you". then look around the room and ask "is everything in the room as comfortable as possible for you?."am going to ask you few questions then do a brief physical examinaion on you is that ok?" "Let me cover your legs first so you feel more comfortable". then you apply the drape. May I sit down?

Then you start with your open-ended question" how can I help you today" or "What brings you in to the hospital today?.......then you continue as per protocol posted on my site.

Hi,
The aim of the test is to see how much info you can get in what method and time. You can go in and tell hime you know what's going on and continue from there with no significant burden on the general outcome, but usually this information is given to you at the start of each encounter just to make you more prepared.
