Question Information Booklet and the CS Schedule

"Examinees who test on or before December 31, 2012 will have results reported in time for the 2013 “Match.” this was posted on the information booklet 2012.

what does this exactly mean?? does this mean that i can complete step 2 cs till December 2012 and still can qualify for the 2013 match? if so then when do i apply for the residency?

Theoretically speaking. Yes, if you get your CS results by the end of 2012 then you can participate in the 2013 March NRMP matching.

This is specially true for US grads.

But for IMGs, the competition is so crazy. If you are not ready (passed all tests) by September 2012, which is when the matching season starts, your chances are much lower.

Most IMGs are ready by the start of the matching season (ERAS application opens in September 1st).
