Listening IMG Starting up with CS Prep

Hi ,
I am IMG and I have taken step 1 and got 247/86 and I am trying to take step 2 CS and I have some questions concerning step 2 cs and it would mean a lot if anybody ( specially IMG who passed the exam) could give me a response to my questions
1) how long does it take to prepare for the CS
2) which material to read
3) is it really a MUST to have a study partner, (sometimes it is difficult to get one), can I do it alone?

Every comment is valuable, I am counting on you guys

Waiting ......

Hi, I have NOT passed CS, I have it in 1 month and started studying today. Kind of crappy considering the holidays but that's the way it is. I'm an dIMG though (passed step 1 and step 2 CK).
I'm doing FA, but I did pass CK already which I think helps a lot IMO. I guess depending on how old of an IMG you are or you background you might not need it.
For the moment I'm studying on my own and already have time issues with the patient note. Once I got that solved, my husband will be my study partner (he is not in the medical field!).
Good luck!
