Default What are chances to get IM

Hi, Please let me know what are my chances of getting IM residency.

My stats are -
YOG- 2008, India
PhD - Molecular Medicine, USA, 2014
3 1st author, 7-8 other papers, many conferences
Step 1 - 230, 1st attempt, 2015
Step 2 - 241, 1st attempt, 2015
CS (2nd attempt ) taking on August 11--- result will be out in Oct.
USCE - 4-5 mo, IM and critical care (University Hospitals)
4 LOR from US MDs, several from research scientists from USA
18 mo cardiac ICU work experience in India
Visa- Green Card

I would appreciate any comment on how to improve my chances.

Since I am an old graduate and have a CS attempt (result will be out in October), second, I am not quit familiar how match works. It was a genuine question.

You have nothing to worry about.
You can't change some of the things you mentioned, but despite the things you mentioned I'm sure you can secure an IM postion maybe not in the most competetive programs but certainly in one of many community based IM programs.

I totally understand you being worried about the CS attempt. The rest of your application is good. Make sure you pass CS and apply broadly. Which component did you fail in if you don't mind me asking??

Do people submit speciality specific LORs when they apply broadly? Its hard to get multiple LORs from one clinician.
