Stethoscope Auscultating 2 instead of 4 areas!

Hey there everyone, Just have a few questions on the physical examination requirements on the exam. Would appreciate it if some people who have passed there CS to maybe share there expierence on how they did there Physical Examination and what can be done very quickly.

1. If a patient presents with a CC of Fatigue, How many location do i need to auscultate for the CV examination. Am i able to get away with just examining 2 out of 4 ausculation sites.

2. How do you attempt to ungown the patient. After i untie the drape. Should i ask the patient whether to expose the area needed for examination, or do i ask for permession and lower the gown

I recommend auscultating all four areas. It's only a couple of seconds different from the two areas.

I recommend asking the SP to ungown instead of you doing it.
