Embarrassed What if the SP try to simulate abnormal auscultation sounds?

Hi guyz; What if the SP makes me a murmur sound once i listen to his heart; should i note that in the physical exam.?!?!? although in reality their isn't any... samething goes for the breath sounds..???

I can't imagine an SP trying to simulate a murmur! He/she would have to be whistling 80-120 times per minute!

But for the breath sounds, yes, that's absolutely possible. They'll try to grunt or harshen their breaths or some of them can even accurately simulate loud wheezes. In that case, you definitely note that down as a physical finding.

Remember not to laugh when they do it

Warning!

Thx Sabio; I dont really remember were i had read that but the SP will blow (ffff,,fffff,,ffff,fffff,fffff,fffff) when ausculting. I also came on a post saying: An SP told you after putting the stethoscope to listen to his heart " Oh Doc... I have a murmur or i used to have one not sure about it".. Anyways, when ever an SP mimics a finding i just note that down and forget about being normal... yea??!!
