Thanks for your reply. I felt I could do well just after the test, but when I remember the test now, I can point out a lot of mistakes. I really concern about my SEP since I am IMG. Let's our fingers crossed.

IMG's SEP passing rate is more than 95%.....if you speak slow and summarize, you will be ok with SEP

All centers are same bcz passing criteria is standard and all SP's act as per their script..so don't think that some centers are good for IMG's are some bad...

Passing CS exam mostly depends on Live practice ith study partner using FA CS Book and there is nothing to do with CK....completing CK will help you to recognize DD's easily but even without CK you can pass with high grade. I know my friends passed CS with out step1 and CK and also with long gap of clinical touch....only thing you need is basic knowledge of DD's and How to interact with patient in exam...just stick to FA and 30 days is more than enough but some take 2 months....It depends on your practice....all the best

Default Scheduling Permit Disappeared

My CS permit has disappeared and also when I log into the CS Calendar and Scheduling, it says that I have not registered for CS exam. Can someone else check and tell me if its happening to them too?

CS permit usually disappear once you take cs exam and when you check CS Calendar and Scheduling it shows "Our records indicate that you are not registered for Step 2 CS. " message in red color. This is default message which appear for examines who have taken cs exam including those who passed. I asked my friend who passed his cs exam and he too can see that message when he logged in to CS Calendar and Scheduling....

So, you will be having NO CLUE unless your score is out.....All the best

I took my exam in this window. Exam went great as far as i remember. Made a couple of mistakes though. Forgot to tie the gown back of 1 patient and couldnt do closure of 1 patient. Rest went well as far as i remember. Lets see.

Insia786, chicago and houston are 2 great centers to take the exam for IMGs. Both have around 98 % pass rate.

I disagree with you.....officially usmle mention that Total passing percentage for Examinees from Non-US/Canadian Schools is 73% in both recent years (2012-13 and 2013-14) and this % is overall across all CS centers. check usmle website under menu Data & Research

USMLE never mentioned passing % of specific center. You claim it is 98% for those 2 centers? It is not true and if you think it is true, please provide source.

once again i say that all cs centers are same and it is with us how to perform on that day....sometimes even with decent preparation, we may not perform well due to various reasons like anxiety, believe in myths, rumors, exam tension etc...

Said that coz it is what i've always heard. An AMS said the same thing to me after we were leaving the test center. Maybe not true, but this is what people say.

It is just rumor and 100% false...don't get in to rumors unless usmle mentions on their website....people never believe that, but just couple of students spread this rumor....

After coming out of exam, i felt bad and am sure i was not up to my expectations and underperformed at least 20-30% to my minimum potential....I did good in 4 cases....average in 6 cases...bad in 2 cases.

Hopefully i pass at least with borderline....waiting for results...Full of Nightmares....

All the best coronory....even i did lot of silly mistakes....many people do mistakes...some people pass even with average performance and some fail even after good performance....but all these assumptions are purely based on our thinking...we may some times overthink and recall only mistakes and ignore our positive factors did in exam.....this exam prep kills and more than that waiting period for cs results really sucks...

i have these mistakes.. really worried

1. in one case i forgot to perform CVA tenderness which was essential to rule out DD, i am so angry on myself how ican i forget. but pt was kind of weird that freaked me out and forgot this test to do
2. i did perform tinel s and phalen s test but i totally forgot to mention i PN because that test came negative.
3. i did not add d dimer or doppler ultrasound in workup of a pt but i added CT pulmonary angio. which is more imp to confirm diagnosis,is it fatal not mentioning above thing?
4. i messed up DDs coz was not able to come up with most likely DD, there were so many possibility like more than 3 and have to put only 3 but my PE, PN, workup and encounter was good
5. is it require to perform neuro in case of depressed pt if we only do MMSE? coz i did nt perform neuro in that case
6. in one case forgot to counsel on weed but rest was fine
7. forgot to check for tremors in pt where i was suspecting hyperthyroid prob but rest i did everything
8. i was not able to add immunisation history in a case coz ran out of space and word limit
9. is it a mistake telling pt tht he might have cancer but will rule it out by workup ?

Hi everyone...!!!
The waiting is a torture!!!!
The day of the exam I felt awful, I believe I did fairly ok with the SPs, there were only one who caught me with the gasping trick and the water; I apologized for that, but I don't know how much negative will that weight in my results.
My main concern was the PNs; in every case my hands felt like heavy, all the time I was making mistakes writing the notes. I had to go back and forth with the notes, and that didn't let me write enough DDx in each case. The same happened with the work out, I knew the work out, but I didn't have enough time...!!! Funny thing is I was perfectly fine while I was practicing...
Anyway, hopefully I pass this time, but honestly I believe I'm screwed...
Wish the best to everyone out there... If I fail, no problem, back to the battle again...

What do you mean by the SP caught you with the gasping trick and the water? I'm expecting my results today too.

I know business hours are from 9AM but i saw many times results out from 8AM onwards...I noticed that trend in previous results thread too.....may be depends on their busy schedule...

My friend step1 score was out at 8:30AM EST and CS score at 8AM EST..I was the person who opened my friend result both the times...so am sure of that...so they can release anytime from 8AM...sometimes 8, 8:30,9am so on....

Question Resend Scores

Was anyone able to resend/update their CS result via ERAS?
I clicked on the resend option and it still says the scores included are only that of Step 1 and Step 2 CK.
Does it actually say Step 2 CS for anyone? or is the CS result sent automatically along with the ECFMG certification?
