Stethoscope Auscultating pleuritic chest pain?

During pulmonary examination if the SP has pleuritic pain aggravated with deep breath, can we ask them to take a deep breath every time we auscultate over the different lung fields?
We are not supposed to repeat painful maneuvers right?

You do not need to ask them to take deep breaths. Just put your stethoscope and they'll for sure breath for you even if they have pleuritic chest pain.

Yes. you are right. Do not repeat painful maneuvers
