Question Patient Note different in FA than Practice Material

hi,
I have a query, I was wondering how exactly should we write the patient notes. like I was practicing on USMLE practice material & the sample notes they had were very different from the one I see in first aid.
Should we go for the detailed heading wise pattern of first aid or to the point USMLE sample notes.
please guide! thanks.

If you are going to take your exam before June 17th 2012 then you need to follow this PN
http://www.usmle.org/practice-materi...-practice.html

If you are going to take your CS on or after June 17th 2012 then you need to follow this PN
http://www.usmle.org/pdfs/practice-m...tient-note.pdf

These are the official practice materials and it's what you are going to see in the exam, do not rely on other book or reference.
