Default help plz

could someone help me with this
if a patient is in pain(abdomenial or chest)and for pe he says he cant change his position,so do we first have to try to convince him to change his position or just do it in the position he is comfortable

Yes u should try to convince them atleast once, say "it is necessary that i examine u in that position, if u can turn it would be very helpful, but if u think u cannot do it for sure then its okay no problem"

You should first ask (since you know they are acting) , but dont expect them to listen, at least ask once, if they reject then do it in the position they feel best in.
