Emergency cases call 911?

Hi all....when in a telephone case a mother calls and said that her child is having lets say diarrhea or fever....should I say ok u should call 911 but let me first take more info about that etc...?

If the mother tells you an emergency then you definitely tell her to hang up and call 911.

Examples of emergencies are
Child with cyanosis, child in seizure, child not breathing, child choking on fish bone ...etc

If she says fever and diarrhea, that's not so urgent to call 911, you should take complete history and if you think that the child is possibly in shock then you can tell her to call 911 at the end of the phone, do not mention it in the beginning because whenever you say 911 you have to hang up which in the CS phone case means "you failed the case!"
