Medicolegal and Ethics When to take consent from minors?

Consent can be waived in minors in cases of pregnancy, STD, contraception and prenatal care or if emancipated or married.

However, what if you get a 16 yo pt with amenorrhea? (UW case) Would you ask for parental consent? CSEvid had another case and mentioned it as written consent from parents handed by the sp.

How to handle consent in minors during the CS exam?

Thanks!
