Question When to wash hands?

um..this is just to make sure.

Do you have to wash your hands for every pt encounter after you take history or right after introducing yourself?

Info After history before physicals

You wash your hands after you finish the history taking and before you start you physical examination.

There's also the option of wearing gloves instead of hand washing, have a look at this thread

you wash your hands when you are done with taking history and you announce to the pt that you are goin to examine him/her..and yeah there's an option to wear gloves but kaplan ppl dont recommend it..
