Question Step1 or CS

I'm done with Step 2 CK & got a pretty decent score.. I'm planning to take Step 1 & want to give it in 5 months.. Is that possible?..I'm a 4 yr. old graduate & I'm good in my clinical subjects but its been a while since I studied basic sciences. Also I'm wondering if I should give CS first & then start Step 1.? Someone plz advice!

you must be planning to apply next year in september....if that is the case, then it hardly makes a difference which exam you take first.
cs prep would usually take 1 month and step 1 would take 5-6 months... it is better that you appear for step 1 first and the try to club your cs with an observership so that you can gain some USCE.

where are you based?

yes...getting late scores or applying at a later date does reduce your chances of getting interviews.
