Question How important is knowing the accurate diagnosis?

I mean, if we don't come up with the real diagnosis?.. Are they really important in this test, or other factors like communication, interpersonal skills, and physical examination more important?

Coming up with two or three differential diagnoses for each encounter is very important because it will then guide you on what relevant questions to ask and what focused physical exam needed.

Further more, the new Patient Note specifically focus on this issue, they want you to tell them why you included this and that differential diagnosis.

Note that, a definite final diagnosis is not needed, just a differential diagnosis.
