The three new cases in the new FA for CS

Alright guys I don't have the new 2012 first aid for the CS, and found out that there are 3 new long cases in there while I was looking in the Table of contents....

Child with seizures, Hoarseness and neck pain......could you guys help me quickly with questions absolutely NOT to forget? how should I approach these please?

ve u worked on differential diagnosis on these cases???
for A CHILD WITH SEIZURE start q on nature of epilepsy its frequency,fever,developmental n birth history family history of seizure,use of any medicine.its imp to focus on neurological development.
horseness...after starting with discussion on present illness ask about oral infection,sore throat for possible pharyngitis,possible vocal cord damage,hypothyroidism,GERD,if he has cough or fever,any history of intubation.
neck pain i would consider meningitis,tonsillitis,peritonsillar abcess,pharyngitis, thyroiditis,spondylisis.

You are panicking way too much.
Hoarseness think cancer, lung or larynx, obstruction, uri, singing, smoking, phrenic nerve, Dilated left atrium etc

So makes sure to ask how long, smoking status, Melena or hemoptysis, chest pain, sob, etc

Neck pain u have to think trauma, Mva, osteoporosis, myositis etc
Ask about head injuries, trauma, accidents, exercise, back pain, whether laying a certain way helps or worsens, neck stiffness, ease of mobility etc


Don't panick, I don't have these cases either and mine is next wk, easy to figure out.
