How do you study first aid for Step 2 cs?
I get that the 44 cases at the end are for practice and studying..but what are minicases? what purpose do mini cases serve? Any recommended method of using first aid? Should we prioritize minicases or 44 cases at the end

I sat for my cs in February I used the fa mainly with CSEVideo and a study partner it's the only way to watch the cs exam and to see all 44 cases of the fa done as you would in the exam. Like the csevideo cases are the fa cases in video with a sp and doctor interaction. I could not of understood the exam without this combo. Pm me if you need any help. Good luck

I would most certainly avoid cse videos if I were you. Both minicases and long cases are important. Make sure you read them well and more importantly practice the cases at least once or twice before the exam. Doing the long cases along with typing the patient notes is very useful to get calibrated to the actual exam.

I agree with rolando I have been using csevideo with fa newest edition almost 6 weeks now and csevideo matches all the cases in first aid and it very helpful to see the cases in fa acted out. dont mess up your study with bad advice this combo works very well and its high yield

yes I used the word "combo" as lots of people refer to csevideo and fa as a combo !!!

Hmm, its weird considering all the posts by rachelmd and ronaldomd (names sound familar enough?) have been entirely in support for cse videos. Saying I liked using cse videos is one thing but supporting cse videos and defending it so passionately? not very subtle
Also both of them used the word 'combo' of FA and cse videos (really subtle btw) and one even defended on why she used it. Haha, come on guys if you are really promoting stuff that is equivalent to intellectual diarrhea, you need to be a bit smart about it.
everyone here knows about cse representatives previously banned from the forum.

we all have our own opinion on what is good study plan I am for sure csevideo alongside the fa is best way and with a sp to practice each case out. This based on my personal experience of study and studying for the cs.
