Default CS experience

Hi everyone
I just took my cs yesterday and am really freaking out.
Here is what happened, I really did just focused examination after my first case
Case 1 Ran out of time to type one diagnosis though i did write the physical finding and history findings. I start my PN from work up, write important findings then history and PE finally diagnosis
Case 2 The patient had quit smoking for a week forget to counsel later, i think i also forgot to write no of PPD in PN ( I don't remember now) and forgot to check pedal edema, it was a respi case, this was a disaster
Case 3 was very angry patient asking for referal, few diagnosis was in my mind but didn't have any physical finding, i just focused exam, and agreed to refer at his wish. When I counseled about alcohol, he was like " I don't need that advise, I am not here for it"
Case 4 was Okay but for didn't send for culture
Case 5 was okay
case 6 was okay
case 7 was okay
case 8 was forget to counsel about the sleeping pill he was taking though counseled about sleep hygiene and all....
case 9- Forgot to counsel about marijuana, though i mentioned the feature he had could be due to substance use ( goodness! )
case 10 was okay The patient kind of gave a clue he was a friendly SP, very co-operative
Case 12 was pedia case, NO examination, this was quick......
Goodness, I just couldn't sleep. I haven't done detailed examination in any of the cases, I think I did the required exam( I don't know)
I did introduce myself, sanitized my hand, did proper draping, did closure in all patients except the counsel as above, shook hand and thanked for co-operation. All of my other patients were friendly and nice.
Do you think I will pass. Please do write something......anything will help, i am freaking out.

Hi! Most students/doctors who took the exam felt the same way like you do right now after taking it. I can only suggest to try to deviate your mind or focus to something else. I know it's hard but you can't change anything at this point. Pray and hope for a positive outcome. From my experience, I also did only focus physical examination, forgot some diagnostic exam, forgot some differential diagnosis and had some embarrassing moment in one of my cases which affected me a lot in writing my patient note and my next case. I was also nervous that I failed but I did not. All the best to you!

I had my exam in Atlanta few days go. I have the same feeling as you have. Do't know about the outcome. I only did the focused physical. Made lot of errors and but did all basics on all pt, knock/address/introduction/used glove/counseled/
last1-2 min counseling and handshake. Do't know hopefully we will pass. Anybody on the same experience who passed
? One final note for those waiting for the test. Focused means focused, no time to ask all the qs and steps Firstaid says.I feel book let me down!!!!

There is a closed thread about mistakes and successes that'll make you feel better. Will post it if I come across it again.
