Default I messed up and picked a date whose results are out on in October.

Will this affect me? Also, will dates free up later on?

You can go on the website where you scheduled the exam and sign up for email notifications. If any date becomes available, they will send you a notification and you can then go back and sign up for that date. You have to be fast since the available date gets filled up fast.

Which site? The one where you schedule your CS? Could you send me the link? I'll try looking it up. Thanks!

Hey Stevens, I think we talked yesterday. You didn't have the dates I needed. But still, I'll check out your site. Thanks.

If results are out in October, you will not be certified till November. Definely not a good idea to apply without CS especially for IMGs. Try to find an earlier date. Like the above person said, you can notifications when date becomes available.

How likely am I to get a date? Do dates open up regularly? I'll be arriving in the US late in late June, so that gives me from the 1st week of July to the 14th of July.

Also, when I reschedule, I expect quite a few other candidates to be waiting for something similar. Is there a risk of me not getting the earlier date and losing the date I've already picked?

Yeah there is always the risk of losing the date you've picked as lot of people will be in a similar situation. July/August/September is the prime time not only for IMGs but US grads to give CS as well, so you have to be reslly fast and lucky if and when the dates do open up.
