Default I passed CS

Hello Everyone,

I took Step 2 CS on March 8, 2016 and got my Passing score on April 13, 2016.
I am an IMG student and I was very nervous before this exam. I also forgot some vital physical exams and questions to ask in the room. (more on this below)
There are two resources that are a must for the exam: "First Aid for the CS" and "Step 2 CS Mnemonics and Tips Made Simple 2.0"

I used First Aid for the CS for all the cases, differentials and workup. I had taken CS before my internal medicine rotation so this was a good starting point. All my cases on the CS came from this book.
I used Step 2 CS Mnemonics and Tips Made Simple 2.0 (can be found on Amazon as a kindle book for $6) for mnemonics and tips. A friend recommended me this little gem and it talks about some changes in how they grade the CS and why people fail. It has great mnemonics and advice including how you should study for CS.

My weakest point was physical exams and I could not find any quick and easy way to figure out which physical exam to do for each case. There was no quick mnemonic either. What I liked about the second book is that it had a quick and easy method to figure out which physical exam to do for each case. I think the book is worth the $6 just because of that.

Using those 2 books, I practiced with a friend. I basically took the advice of the second book, which said to do 2 cases a day. I finished my studying in 24 days (I can't really say how to split it up because it's in that second book and I don't want to get in trouble giving out the information from that book).

If I can pass, anyone can. Good luck to you all. Message me if any additional questions.

I am not a paid sponsor for any of the resources above.

Yea I posted it again because when I posted it before, I received several PMs, which I enjoyed answering. I like helping others out.
