Default Step 2 CS Mistakes (Major Ones)

So I made quite a few major mistakes, mostly for ICE component. Is there any hope for a pass from these?

1. Peds case - missed majority of past history questions not directly related to CC (Got the history for the main complaint and all, but missed past history/social/vaccinations/meds/allergies/etc) Diagnosis was fairly simple so confident in DDx and Workup
2. Missed majority of neuro exam in a case that warranted it. Only did gait.
3. Missed abdominal exam in 2 fatigue cases (one definitely needed it)
4. One case in which I had no idea what patient had (probably didn't ask good enough ROS maybe)
5. Missed simple straight diagnosis in 2 cases (got good enough history, but blanked and realized diagnosis right after submitting note). Diagnosis I put were reasonable and supported by HPI.
6. Cancer diagnosis - Had cancer in my top 2 differential in 3 cases but for some reason I didn't specify the type of cancer at all...I'm an idiot. I just put malignancy and offered supporting evidence for it
7. Didn't ask sexual hx in everyone, just 1 person that I think needed it.
8. Didn't do HEENT or full lung exam (fremitus, palpation, percussion) in 2 respiratory cases at all
9. Missed 2-3 major ROS and HPI related questions for 3-4 cases
10. Work up for CXR didn't specify PA or Lateral

Things I did:
1. Though CIS stuff went overall fine. Maybe 2 patients I didn't really answer their questions well enough. Maybe 3 or so that I didn't empathize enough with.
2. Asked PMH/SHx/Allergies/Meds/Social (alcohol, tobacco, drugs, occupation) for everything else but peds case
3. Summarized HPI, explained DDx, and plan for everyone. Asked if they had questions/concerns
4. Notes were overall structured well except for peds case were I didn't ask majority of HPI.
5. Confident in correct diagnosis in 9/12 cases
6. Workup was always appropriate except for one of the cases I missed diagnosis (missed a major test)

Anyone have any idea if these mistakes will tank me?

I think you should be fine. Everyone misses a lot of stuff in history and physical. As long as you were able to communicate well, counsel the patient, explain the plan, wash hands and show empathy, that should get you through.

Just remembered that I absolutely blew my psych case. I asked for depressed mood but didn't ask loss of interest...I put depression in my differential and had screening in workup but my questioning on that case was so poor

Wow. I made even worse mistakes and still hoping i pass the exam. You will be fine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this Wednesday. I gave my exams last week of April. I want it out this Wednesday so I can focus on my CK just a month away?

I messed up my pschy case too. Didn't get enough history from someone that told me she was raped. It was my 1st case so I guess I was a lil bit tense. So many avoidable silly mistakes. I hope I finally pass. #whew.

What kind of mistakes did you make? Please update once you get your score this week. I'm sure you did fine.

Anyone have any experience with not writing enough negative ROS in HPI. I think half way through the CS test I just stopped asking my typical ROS since the patients were giving me majority of information by just asking about their CC. Now I am terrified after seeing people say pertinent neg ROS is important in note

Hey! I took on April 13 in Philly. I think we have a big change to receive it this week. I did make some mistakes, some may feel like disaster too. Finger cross to both of us!

Random question, but did your guys SPs pretty much give you most of the active complaints from open ended questions? Were your review of systems questions ever positive?

I think I might left 1 or 2 'relevant' PE in 3-4 cases. However, My SPs did give most of the information from open-ended Qs. Some ROS positive and negative. Can't be so sure until the result is out.

Does anyone have any experience or opinion regarding my cancer diagnosis? I don't know why I didn't specify more (for example say Lung cancer instead of just saying Malignancy)? I supported the diagnosis, but will the vagueness cause me to lose points?

Update passed with only 1 star in borderline region for ICE. CIS in higher performance. This test is super lenient as can be described from my OP.
