Hmm, I may be in trouble, as I see a different message when I try to book a new step 2 CS test : "Our records indicate that you are not registered for Step 2 CS."

Oh well.

Nero when did you give your exams? I don't think the trick still works because I was told the exact same thing for CK and I'm yet to even do CK in a months time.

My scheduling permit disappeared when I took the exam because my eligibility period expired....is for this reason that the system allows me to schedule or I failed miserably?

maybe that is the case. Personally I don't believe the IWA trick, people say it has been fixed by ECFMG long time ago. I have read some experiences in which IWA was letting them register, but they passed eventually. Some had the same error as me, and they failed.

So wait till the result comes and Good luck!

I wrote my exam in the last week of April. Really hoping I get the result today, as I need to schedule step 3 ASAP as I've got a new job lined up in the USA. I've written step 1, 2CS and CK within 3 months (I'm an CMG attending physician who's been out of med school for close to a decade...)

Is there any hope for still getting result today or next Wednesday?. Does it indicate bad sign?

Hi there,

I just received my email just a minute ago. Emails are being sent at different times, so don't worry just yet. You may still get your results today. My report will be available in a few minutes apparently.

Congrats Nero. Wow. I didn't get mine . A friend I practiced with failed ICE. I'm so sad and scared right now. It means I will probably get it next week. Another week of emotional stress. Jezz

I took my exam yesterday and Im pretty sure I failed. Any of you felt that way after the exam. 12/12 cases Im pretty sure about my diagnosis. Some cases I forgot very important diagnostic tests. I also might have messed up so many challenging questions. I never summarized bc I was told in one of cs workshop that we dont need to summarize anymore as long as we counsel and adress every issue. Also 8/12 of my patients were not happy while I was leaving the room. Do I have a chance to pass?

It's safe to say that almost everyone has the exact same feeling after getting out of the test.

Not sure if it helps, but I was convinced that I failed step 2 CS and CK. If anything, C2K was the hardest exam I've ever taken in my life (I'm a board-certified attending in Canada, so I've seen lots of exams in my life), and I passed both comfortably. It may not be worth much, but I kid you not, most of us most likely felt the exact same way you're feeling currently. Hang in there!

Someone pmed me and i dont have enough posts to reply to him/her. Figured I could use this thread instead.

"I did not take any course in the USA. Only source I used was First Aid for step2 CS and nothing else. Studied for about 12 days, about 5-8 hours per day. I focused on the practice cases and read them over and over again. I watched a few random youtube videos on physical exam (MSK, abdo exam mainly), but that wasn't useful for the actual exam in my opinion. Didn't spend more than 1 hour watching these videos. Used my wife as a practice partner for about 2-3 hours prior to test day, and she gave me a few tips as she is also a physician. Honestly, I didn't do anything special, and really 95% of my preparation was FA, reading it over and over. I didn't practice writing notes, but I figured that I'd be fine in the real thing. Hope that helps, and good luck!"

Do you or anyone else happen to know how many XXX can go into the lower performance and still pass?

I failed on the CIS component . Was shocked since I was sure I passed after leaving the test center and since I paracticed a lot . I had great scores 247 and 262 and now this . It feels awful and now that I know my chances of matching have decreased for some programs I cant event begin to re-study

Wow. u have impressive scores. Apply and retake CS after october and dont release your failed score till you go for interviews.

You have to allow your scores to be released. right?
I remembering reading a thread where he is american graduate and failed his CS and he said he didnt take his exam till after he completed his interview so the application only saw "incomplete CS"

Hey guys, I took my test April 11th Houston. It's been 2 weeks, still don't have my score report! I'm freaking out! Is it related to your performance?

hi pratik123,

same here. I guess it is a systemic error they have messed with our tests. I have done 13 cases- one extra after test ended for other examinees. they are still investigating I guess

Embarrassed IMG

Hi everybody. I am an IMG and I took my Step2 cs In june in phy. I am very nervous actually because I canīt stop to think in all the mistakes that i made. So i would like to know if anybody feel the same as well. i think that 3 month to give you the results is a lot of time and i donīt know how to spend the time. My really problem was my orthography, so i want to know if anybody can tell if had the same problem. I think that my nervous were against me in the exam. Thanks for all.
