Default Tips on How I Passed Step 2CS

Hello everyone

I've been on this forum for the last 2 years and learned alot for everyone here and thought I should give back. I passed Step 2CS in 2015 and thought I would share how

* I took 1 month to prepare for it
* Took the exam at a test center considered THE most difficult
* You should have a partner to practice with regardless of whether they are in the medical field or not. I practiced with my husband and other students preparing for Step 2CS over Skype video.
* Preferably practice with someone with good English-speaking skills and is preferably from the United States because some of us being IMGs may have difficulty understanding an American accent
* Material Used: First Aid for USMLE Step 2CS, CSE Videos
* Practiced my typing skills for weeks, very important!

I participated in last years match and matched at my dream program as an IMG.

When I was on my residency match journey I wished there was one central information source this long and complicated process. So I started a blog to give back to everyone here detailing my entire journey including Step2CS: http://www.blog.myresidencylist.com/...first-attempt/

The blog goes into much more detail on how to ensure you pass on first attempt. Any questions please ask in the comments section of the specific blog posts and I will answer there!
