ICE (Physical exam & Patient note typing)
Most ICE fails are on the Patient note part (close to 85% fails on ICE are based on patient note performance and about 25-35% still fail on second attempt on ICE)

How do I overcome this challenge?
Practice the correct patient note typing technique
Practice the correct P-note format
Invest most of your prep time on note typing
You can fake CIS, try to speak slowly & clearly for SEP, but for ICE, you must dedicate time
Practice practice practice is the ultimate key
Learn how USMLE CS grade your patient notes
Learn common abbreviations that saves you time while typing
Get expert coaching that will improve your performance
Get a copy of a standard patient note template when you submit your note ( these notes were hand prepared by MD's and students that scored very high performance on Step CS)
