Hammer and Otoscope Muscle Strength Through the Gown!

Hi all:

When we are checking lower ext. strengh, and we say: please push up against my hands. can we do this through the gown? or we have to do all exam without the gown.

You need to do inspection any way, so why through the gowns!

Undress the patient up to the upper thigh, leave the pelvic area covered with the drape.

You won't be looking at the pelvic area because you are standing beside the patient not at the foot of the bed.

what is the easiest and fastest way to test muscle strength in upper and lower extremities that will be enough for the cs?
