Typing is my big issue, so if we can type in capital letters that will help, I see from other forum some guys say we can do, but I'm not so sure, so we need to hear from those who did the exam.

Correct Answer Officials

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Step 2 CS patient note. Your score will not be impacted for using all capital letters on your patient notes.

There's a difference between the official rules and the reality.
In reality, your patient note will be rated by a human physician. That doctor might not like your patient notes when he sees them all in CAPITAL LETTERS and therefore subconsciously he might score you down for even minor mistakes.
This is just like for example when Program Directors do not rank excellent candidates even though they have super scores and super CV, they don't rank them just because they lack style (like inappropriate appearance or messed up accent).
So I highly encourage everybody to not use ALL CAPITALS even though it's allowed, it's not good for your appearance and highly likely impact your score.

Yes, as typing is a issue for me, typing in all CAPITAL could save a lil time for me. So why not to ask them before doing it.

Hello step taker ,

I am agree with each and every word you wrote. But typing is real concern for me.
Just a question - what is better an incomplete PN or complete PN in capitals?
