Question A few quick questions about Step 2 CS

Hey guys,

I will be taking the CS on October 18th in Atlanta.

Just had a few questions about preparation for this NEW FORMAT of CS exam.

1. Which book would you recommend is best for this new format? Is FA for Step 2 CS THIRD EDITION up to date enough or should I go for a different one that is better for this exam?
2. I have downloaded some CSE Videos from CSE 2010 - are these worth it and will they be applicable for the new format exam?
3. Is there is a list of acceptable abbreviations that can be used on the patient note?
4. Is USMLEWorld Step 2 CS worth the money or should I not bother?
5. Are the patients in the exam just simulating pain/symptoms or are there actual signs that we need to elicit in the physical examination? Ie. patients with acromegaly, signs of heart failure, pulmonary fibrosis etc?

First aid is mostly enough to practise cases..cse videos are good ..but there are few mistakes, even though they help u a lot with history taking and examinations protocols.
there few cases in uworld which u cant find in FA..i think u can get them as offline versions from any forums..
