Listening TILT test in dizzy patient

I was wondering which PE tests, maneuvers you guys would do when a patient comes with c/o dizziness, sens that the room is spinning, also c/o decr. hearing.

for BPPV you would obviously try Dix-hallpike, but in FA and other practice materials they just put that in the work up section, not as part of their PE.

e.g one case in FA says during the PE section on the sample note:
-tilt test. im confused as for what this tilt test is. bielschowsky head tilt test is to detect CN IV palsy. and its definitely not head table tilt test, which require a fasting patient, IV injection and some observation..
do they mean dix hallpike or do they simply just mean to tilt the patient's head? anywho. why would you write Dix-hallpike in the work up if you performed it during your PE?

If anyone could clarify I would be forever grateful
