thanks for quick reply

i know about that poll as it was that poll that made me aware of this course.
but it has only 14 votes & anyone with fake identity can give votes.

so i just want to know whether it would be wise to trust on them & give it a try.

Imgaspirant,
I took their course. I still haven't received my cs result (waiting for Oct. 10) so I cannot tell you the final outcome of the course, but I thought it was very good. I did the 3 day course, a friend did the 5 day course and told me it wasn't really necessary. What I can tell you is that we practiced alot and the teaching was excellent. I don't think the course is necessary, but I think it can speed up your preparation.
If you have any questions just ask.

Best of Luck for your result
1. I took the course 3 weeks before the exam. They say it is better to take the course 2-3 weeks before the exam as it gives you time to work on your weak areas.
2. I don't think it is necessary. Many people study by themselves or with a live or skype partner and I think this is the key for this test, to practice alot. However, if you are short on time the course can be very helpful. It greatly accelerated my preparation and gave me confidence by practicing with trained SPs. I don't know my result (I hope I passed), but on the day of the test I felt pretty confident. The SPs of the course give you a harder time than the SPs of the real exam. You also see harder cases. So the real test feels easier than the practice tests of the course.
3. For me it was worth it, I would do the 3 day course again. A friend did the 5 day course and told me it was excellent, however not really necessary (too extensive). But I think this depends more on the person.... If you feel that you are not prepared for the test after the 3 day course, they give you the option to extend it.
4. They supply their own material but it does not replace FA, it supplements it. So when you are by yourself, you practice the cases of FA using their guidelines which are pretty helpful. After the course, I practiced with a partner (through skype) that I met in the course.
5. In my class there were 5 students, but it varies. For example while there I heard that the upcoming course was going to have 10 students.
6. They did everything that was mentioned. The staff are very friendly and excellent teachers. Overall I had a great experience.

Thanks for your wishes! I'm pretty nervous as i have waited a LONG time for this result, but I hope for the best. Best of luck to you too!

thanks a lot
your reply was very helpful

can you compare this course with kaplan one, if you have any idea which one is better, please tell

after your reply i'm more inclined towards ximedus

yeah we all know it is very difficult to wait for the results, no matter how good your exam went, it is one of the most anxious periods.

i hope that your result will be up to your expectation.

No idea about the kaplan course, maybe someone who took it can chime in?

Hey imgaspirant,

Thankfully I passed! What I did was I took the Ximedus course before I began to study and then reviewed cases with a study partner for 2 weeks before my exam, concentrating on my weak areas (about 3-4 hrs a day). My final result was: higher performance in 2 subcomponents and borderline performance in 1 subcomponent.

Best of luck in your preparation! I'm here if you have any other questions...
