Thumbs Up

Hi Laura,
Congrats on passing and for the Star .

I am an IMG and it is so refreshing and relieving to hear someone talk of it like it's real. Like it is actually a patient encounter and not an evaluation of how thoroughly we have memorized FA for CS.

Just one query. Did you encounter any patients that required a Rinne's or Weber's test? You need not answer if this is likely to divulge any case(s) you got on the actual exam.

I'm also hoping to apply for next year's match. Happy for you .
And, my guess is, the only people not subscribed to your channel are those who don't have access to YouTube. . Keep those posts coming!

Congratulation once again for the great job.
Thanks Laura for this great feedback, which we really need.
I have one question for you, in chest exam, if the case is not respiratory do you auscultate at 4 spots or six different spots, which I would do for respiratory case.

Congrats for passing doctor
I noticed that in the new CS format
the case note is quite short
and looking at the case note sample given on the usmle website
the doumentation of the physical exam component in the note is short and not like in FA????

congrats! i just have several questions. since you also took the new CS format, how did you find the changes in the CIS component. i didnt hear you say anything about asking the effect of the disease to the patient or something like that.

did you get to do all there 5 functions for the CIS:

Fostering the relationship
Gathering information
Providing information
Making decisions: basic
Supporting emotions: basic

thanks a lot!

I pretty much did the same as the CSE videos so if you've watched that then you should be fine
